C2 Clear Creative is led by Terry Yeardley and Peter Shepherd, two friends who met while studying graphic design in Sheffield. After their four years of fun, frolics and hard work, they set off on their different design paths.

After 10 years mastering their craft, they rejoined forces to combine their various talents and experience to create C2 - the clear, creative design agency.

To ensure our high standards are kept, we work with an amazing group of photographers, printers, programmers, illustrators and copywriters, all of whom we consider friends, not just suppliers.

Most interesting job? The one I'm working on now.

Why the name C2? Simple really... 'C'lear and 'C'reative.

What do you wear when you design? My thinking cap.

My best ideas arrive when I... Least expect them... Middle of the night, or when I can't find a pen.

Your thoughts on the 2012 Olympics logo: I'd best not swear...

Best thing since sliced bread: Sheffield Wednesday, or were they around before sliced bread?

Favourite designer? Peter Saville (and it's not just because he's called Peter). From his early days in Manchester working for Factory Records, to his work with Givenchy and Pringle. All his work has an elegant and timeless quality, which for me is the hallmark of good design.

Favourite place to be inspired? Outside.

Web design or print? Although I'm a graphic designer by trade and by passion, the wonderful world of the internet has kept me entertained, intrigued and immersed for the last few years, so I'll have to say web.

New designers should: Keep learning.

What do you wear when you design? Nothing but a smile.
